In the female camp were imprisoned in total approx. 131 thousand prisoners:

  • approx. 28 thousand in 1942
  • approx. 56 thousand in 1943
  • approx. 47 thousand in 1944

including:

  • approx. 90 thousand with regular numbers
  • approx. 30 thousand with „A” series of numbers (introduced in May 1944 for Jews)
  • approx. 11 thousand with „Z” series of numbers (destined for Roma)
  • approx. 1.8 thousand with „E” series (designated for so-called re-education prisoners-Erziehungshäftling

82 thousand (almost 63%) Jewish women deported from various countries,
31 thousand (less than 24%) Polish women,
11 thousand (over 8%) Romani women,
7 thousand (over 5%) representatives of other nationalities, including: Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, Germans, French, Czechs, and Yugoslavs.
